With new revisions to the GPU2 core code, the GPU2 code is doing more science per ever in the same amount of time. In the spirit of having the points equate to how much science is being done, we are going to increase the PPD of the GPU2 benchmark machine (ATI 3850 board -- see the FAQ for details) to 1500 PPD. We will revalue the most recent WU's (472X) and all future WU's will use this new PPD for benchmarking.
Thats wonderful, you should be on commission from ATI i have already brought 3x 3870 OC cards to use solely for folding... love it!

Common guys what's the status for nvidia gpu's?!
I'm losing my patience and stop folding until a nvidia client is released. I'm starving in front of the lag of information. *omg*

What was the PPD on a 3850 before?

More info please!!!
What was the PPD on a 3850 before?
When will the nVidia client be released and what GPUs will it support? With CUDA, there isn't a possibility of incorrect calculations like in the case of DX, is there?
Will the ATI GPU2 client ever support CrossFire or must the two cards always be unlinked for it to work?
What about the nVidia client? Does it support SLI or must the two cards also be treated as individual GPUs for the nVidia client to use both?

Dont be so busy little guys, folding team have to deliver a stable & full working client.
So you have to wait ;)
And i think next generation of ATi/Amd 4xxx will be a very nice suprise (very good performance, very low price)

6530 PPD for GTX 280
5000 PPD for 9800 GTX
3000 PPD for 9600 GT
and only 1900 for a 3870 ?
:(

I see Nvidia pay good to FAH for kick ATI from stat.
Why U no optimize ATI client ?
9600GT 2 time better than 3870 ?

This sucks! Nvidia blows ATI out of the water at folding? Hard to believe, but let's see it from Mr Vijay's team.
I wonder how the 4850 will do at folding. From initial graphics benchmarks, it looks like 4850 will outperform 8800GT.
